on Indigenous African Spiritual Traditions
To be held
at Columbia University's Teachers College April 21 to
April 23 on . This Symposium is designed to bring together
Indigenous Spiritual Traditions from the African continent
as well as the Arican Disapora. The presenters at this
Symposium represent diverse Spiritual Traditions which
include Yoruba, Akan, Dagara, Khemetic, Vodoun, Santeria,
Garifuna, and Congolese among others. Some of the
presenters include: Dr. Malidoma Patrice Somé, Author, Of
Water & the Spirit; Ra Un Nefer Amen, Founder, Ausar
Auset Society; and Kamau Kokayi, MD, WBAI Host, Global
